Man arrested for dangerous driving

Police have arrested a 32-year-old private car driver for dangerous driving causing death an 83-year-old pedestrian died in a Kowloon City traffic accident.

 

The driver has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

 

At about 5.55am today, the private car, traveling on Argyle Street, hit the man near the junction with Forfar Road. The man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and died at 5.30pm.

 

Kowloon West's special traffic investigation team is following up. People who have information to offer should contact the investigating officers on 2773 5200.
