Marine Police have seized computer hard-disks worth $600,000 in an anti-smuggling operation in Tai Po.

About 3am today officers saw six men loading goods from a van to a speedboat at a pier near Tai Po Waterfront Park. The men fled in the speedboat when officers approached.

Twenty-seven boxes of disks were seized from the van. The case will be handed to the Customs & Excise Department for further investigation.
