Senior dies in Kwun Tong accident

A 74-year-old man has died after he was hit by a van in Kwun Tong.

 

The man was crossing the road at the junction of Lei Yue Mun and Ko Chiu Roads at about 11.30am when the van, driven by a 29-year-old man, reportedly struck him.

 

He was taken to United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.22pm.

 

The Kowloon East special traffic investigation team is following up. Anyone who saw the accident or has any information should call Police on 2754 7668 or 2305 7570.
