About 10.40 am today, a car on Lin Cheung Road northbound lost control and slammed into a road-sign stand near Lai Cheung Road. Two male passengers, aged 17 and 19, and a 17-year-old female passenger were injured and sent to Kwong Wah Hospital. The driver left the scene after the crash.

The 19-year-old man was certified dead while the young woman was discharged after receiving treatment. The 17-year-old man was admitted and his condition is critical.
