Elderly woman dies in Sham Shui Po accident

Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating after a 90-year-old woman was struck by a van at lunch time in Sham Shui Po and later died in hospital.

 

At about 12.45pm, a 22-year-old man was driving a van that reportedly struck the woman near the junction of Tai Po Road and Nam Cheong Street.

 

The woman was sent to Caritas Medical Centre where she was certified dead at 7.16pm.

 

Anyone who saw the accident is urged to call 2773 5258 or 2773 5200.
