Police are appealing for information about a Lok Ma Chau traffic accident last Thursday in which a 36-year-old man was seriously injured.

Around 7.35am on November 8, a 49-year-old man was driving a taxi along Castle Peak Road towards Sheung Shui. Near Mai Po Tsuen, the taxi hit the 36-year-old man as he was crossing the road.

He was taken to the North District Hospital and later transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police are investigating the accident. Anyone who has any information can contact them on 2675 3411 or 2675 3325.
