A 28-year-old woman and her 26-year-old boyfriend have been arrested over the death of her three-year-old son.

On July 5 a 52-year-old woman told Police that her daughter and grandson went missing mid-June. Officers found her and the boyfriend in a To Kwa Wan Road flat yesterday. They told officers boy choked and died while eating in a flat on Kowloon City Road on June 15.

The woman did not make a report to Police but told officers that she contacted the boyfriend who helped her put the boy's body into a rubbish bag and they left it on the side of Sheung Heung Road.

They have been arrested for murder and investigations continue.
