Police are investigating three separate traffic accidents in which a teen driver and two pedestrians were killed today.
The first incident occurred in Tai Po, at about 3.15am. A 19-year-old man was driving a car along Bride's Pool Road towards Tai Po. He reportedly lost control of the car and rammed a lamppost near Wu Kau Tang.
Ambulancemen pronounced the driver dead at the scene.

Van strikes, kills pedestrian
A 37-year-old man who was crossing Tsing Yi Road near Cheung Hang Estate was struck by a van driven by a 44-year-old man at about 11.05am. The van was travelling towards Sai Tso wan at the time.
The pedestrian was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.52pm.
Anyone who saw the accident is asked to call 3661 1300.
Woman falls in front of taxi
A 55-year-old woman was killed in Mong Kok when she reportedly lost her balance and fell in front of a taxi travelling along Nathan Road towards Tsim Sha Tsui.
A 48-year-old man was driving the cab at about 9.30pm when it struck the woman near Allied Plaza.
She was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital where she was certified dead at 10.53pm.
