2 arrested for illicit fish haul

Customs officers have arrested two men and seized $140,000-worth of unmanifested freshwater fish from a Zhuhai fishing vessel at Chek Lap Kok pier.

 

The vessel was stopped at 1am today, and 4,200kg of fish was seized. The consignment did not bear valid health certificates.
