Info sought over bus attack

*
Hong Kong Police

Police are seeking information about an attack on a bus in Cheung Sha Wan yesterday, in which a man injured the bus driver and a passenger.

About 1pm, a 35-year-old woman boarded a route No 102 bus running from Mei Foo Sun Chuen to Shau Kei Wan outside 888 Cheung Sha Wan Road. She followed a man to  the upper deck and took a seat in front of him.

As the bus neared Tai Nan Street, the man suddenly used a stun gun on the woman's right ear from behind and fled downstairs.

He then ordered the 55-year-old driver to stop the bus, and attacked him when he ignored the demand. The bus finally stopped outside 786 Cheung Sha Wan Road and the culprit fled towards Tai Nan West Street.

The culprit, aged about 30, is about 1.65 metres tall, thin, with long straight hair.

Anyone who saw the attacks or has information should call 2746 3453 or 2746 3300.
