Andrew Liao has been appointed Land & Development Advisory Committee Chairman while 19 people have been named committee members for three years from July 1.

The Development Bureau said the committee, formerly known as the Land & Building Advisory Committee, has been reorganised to take on a new and additional function of advising on individual land development proposals the newly established Development Opportunities Office processes.

The committee's membership has been broadened to facilitate early community input in the office's work, and enable the committee to gauge sentiments in the wider community on development proposals.
