Tuen Mun Road widening works gazetted
*

The proposed widening works on Tuen Mun Road at Tsing Tin Interchange has been gazetted, the Transport & Housing Bureau says.

The construction is slated to start in early 2008 and is expected to take about 32 months to complete.

The works include:

* widening of a section of approximately 240-metre long Tuen Mun Road at Tsing Tin Interchange from dual two-lane to dual three-lane;

* ancillary works including erection of noise barriers;

* construction of traffic aids and traffic surveillance system; and

* construction of associated geotechnical, drainage and landscaping works.

Anyone who wishes to object to the proposed works or the use, or both should write to the Secretary for Transport & Housing's office, 16th Floor, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong by September 25.
