Caution issued on US organic yogurt

*
Centre for Food Safety

Consumers should not eat batches of Stonyfield Farm's organic fat-free blueberry yogurt from the US which might contain plastic or glass fragments. The Centre for Food Safety has asked businesses to stop selling the product.

The product is Stonyfield Farm Organic Fat Free Blueberry Yogurt, packaged in six-ounce cups. Product codes starting with dates 'Apr 13 08', 'Apr 14 08', 'Apr 15 08', 'April 25 08' and 'Apr 26 08' are printed along the cup bottom. The company concerned is recalling the affected products.

The centre is seeking further information from the US authorities and has alerted local distributors.
