Health promotion fund applications open
*

Non-profit-making organisations are invited to submit grant applications for the Healthcare & Promotion Fund to conduct non-research health promotion projects.

This is the 21st application call for non-research health promotion projects that help people adopt healthier lifestyles by enhancing awareness, changing behaviour or creating an environment that supports good health practices.

Thematic priorities like tobacco control, nutrition and physical activity, injury prevention (traffic and occupational), communicable diseases, and poisoning (food and drug), have been adopted. Higher funding priorities will be accorded to these areas. Applications which fall outside these priorities will still be considered, although they will have a lower funding preference.

Guidance notes and application forms are available here. Application deadline is July 31.

Successful applicants may be awarded full or partial support normally not exceeding $300,000 on a one-off basis. Enquiries can be made by fax 3150 8993 or email rfs@hwfb.gov.hk.
