The two silver-eared mesias found in Mong Kok have tested positive for H5N1, the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department says.

Department staff collected their carcasses on February 7 at 101-109 Boundary Street.

The department advised people to observe good personal hygiene, and to avoid personal contact with wild birds and live poultry.
