Youths drawing competition starts

The Home Affairs Department has kicked off "18 Districts Loveable Sights" drawing competition to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The application period runs until March 9.

 

Lions Clubs International District 303 HK & Macau, China, and the Hong Kong Youth Cultural & Arts Competitions are co-organisers.

 

The competition is divided into two categories - the primary group (P4 to P6) and secondary group (F1 to F7). Participants are required to do outdoor sketching in pastel, colour pencils or crayon at designated venues.

 

Each of the 18 districts will have a champion, a first runner-up, a second runner-up and five awards of merit in each category.

 

The winners will enter the territory-wide competition to return one champion, one first runner-up, one second runner-up and five winners of awards of merits for each category. Winners will get book coupons of $500 to $2,000 and trophies.
