Postal gift service launches new offers

Over 20 new gift sets will be available through the Hong Kong-Mainland Gift Fulfilment Service. They include flower bouquets, flower baskets and cakes, priced from $288 to $1,261 including delivery charges, to more 2,000 Mainland cities.

Hongkong Post and China Post teamed up in 2004 to launch the service, which provides a convenient way of sending gift sets to the Mainland.

Product catalogues and order forms are available at any post office. Completed forms can be returned to any post office, or by fax or post. Customers can also place orders via the Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall ShopThruPost. For further information, call 2921 2222 or click here.

Meanwhile, the new Kennedy Town Post Office opened today in the Kennedy Town Community Complex, 12 Rock Hill Street. It operates 9.30am to 5pm on weekdays, and from 9.30am to 1pm Saturdays. It replaces the one at 38 Hau Wo Street.
