New year lantern display opens

 

The Radiant Romance lantern show will light up Kowloon Park January 20 to February 26 to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

 

Presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, it will feature five vibrant lantern displays, colouring the festive season.

Greeting visitors at the main entrances at Haiphong and Austin Roads are lanterns of dragons, phoenixes and flowers.

 

At the fan-shaped pool, the Morning Flower & Evening Moon in One String display depicts the legendary matchmaker arranging the world's marriages.

 

Another set of lanterns at the lotus pond illustrate the legendary characters Cowherd & the Weaving Maid, while the Renewal & Blessing in the Fruitful New Year display will be at the landmark.
