The Environmental Protection Department invites parties with relevant experience and expertise to submit tenders for tenancies of the third batch of lots in EcoPark Phase I in Tuen Mun.
Successful tenderers must carry out recycling activities of designated waste type within the park, including waste plastics and organic waste, excluding waste cooking oil and chemical waste such as lube oil.
The two tenants of the second batch of lots - awarded last December for recycling of locally-generated waste electrical and electronic equipment, and manufacturing of biodiesel from waste cooking oil - are building up their business operations. They are scheduled to open by the end of this year.
Tender documents and further information are available during office hours from the department's Waste Reduction & EcoPark Group at Room 217, 2nd Floor, East Wing, 88 Victoria Road, Kennedy Town.
Submissions should be addressed to the Tender Opening Committee Chairman, Government Logistics Department, and placed in the department's tender box on the ground floor of the North Point Government Offices at 333 Java Road before noon on March 19.
