Competition law consultants appointed
*

Local law firm Arculli, Fong & Ng and Australian law firm Gilbert+Tobin have been appointed to advise on the preparation of the competition law.

 

The Economic Development & Labour Bureau today said the consultants will advise on issues relating to the development of the competition law, particularly with reference to regulatory frameworks in other jurisdictions.

 

The consultants will advise on how best to legislate for the effective implementation of Hong Kong's competition policy, including the establishment of an enforcement body and guidelines for the law's implementation.
