Census & Statistics Department

The Annual Survey on Information Technology Usage & Penetration in the Business Sector for 2007 has launched. It will collect information relating to IT usage and penetration in the business sector, which will be useful for reference in Hong Kong's IT development strategy.

Commissioner for Census & Statistics Fung Hing-wang urged the management of the selected establishments to return the completed questionnaire by May 18. If necessary, Census & Statistics Department officers will help establishments complete the form.

The survey covers general information on the establishment, personal computer usage, Internet usage, website usage, electronic business and commerce, IT budget, IT security, wireless and mobile services, and technology usage.

For enquiries call 3105 8093.
