Secretary for Commerce, Industry & Technology Joseph Wong will meet European Commissioner for Trade Peter Mandelson in Brussels from February 12 to exchange views on the Doha Round and general trade issues between Hong Kong and the European Union.

He will also meet Belgian Vice-Prime Minister & Finance Minister Didier Reynders to promote Hong Kong's trade and investment opportunities and discuss bilateral trade.

Mr Wong will attend a Lunar New Year reception organised by the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Brussels.

He will also meet German Federal Minister for Economy & Technology Michael Glos in Berlin where Hong Kong will set up an economic and trade office later this year.

He will return to Hong Kong February 15.
