Stephen Lam to open Chengdu office
*

Secretary for Constitutional Affairs Stephen Lam will officiate at the opening ceremony and dinner reception of the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Chengdu February 5.

 

The unit moved to its new office on the 38th floor of Tower 1, Plaza Central, 8 Shuncheng Street, Chengdu, yesterday.

 

It has been set up to promote Hong Kong's co-operation with the southwestern region of the country. It also provides support and services to Hong Kong enterprises and Mainland residents.

 

During his stay in Chengdu, Mr Lam will also open Hong Kong Film Week on February 4. The event will introduce Hong Kong movies to Chengdu people and enhance exchanges in the art of film and popular culture between the two cities.
