A report which provides a complete picture of Hong Kong's direct investment situation in 2005 is now on sale, the Census & Statistics Department says.

The report, "External Direct Investment Statistics of Hong Kong 2005", contains detailed statistics including inward direct investment by investor country/territory; outward direct investment by recipient country/territory; opinions of direct investors on Hong Kong's investment environment and more detailed information on external direct investment in Hong Kong.

As from reference year 1998, a complete set of external direct investment statistics of Hong Kong is available annually. The external direct investment statistics are compiled based on data obtained from the department's Survey of External Claims, Liabilities & Income, supplemented by data from other sources.

The report, at $42 per issue, is on sale at Hong Kong Statistical Bookstore and Government Bookstore. Purchase print versions online to get a 15% discount.
