The nomination period for the Wong Tai Sin District Council Tsz Wan West Constituency by-election will run from October 10 to 23. If there is more than one validly nominated candidate, a poll will be held on November 30.

Any registered geographical constituency voter aged 21 or above who has ordinarily lived in Hong Kong for the last three years can be nominated. Nominees must submit nomination forms subscribed by 10 registered voters of the constituency. Each voter is allowed to subscribe to only one nomination.

The nominee must personally hand in their completed form together with an election deposit of $3,000 to the returning officer within the nomination period. Nominations are accepted from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to noon Saturdays.
