The final registers of electors carry 3,372,007 geographical constituency electors and 229,861 functional constituency electors, up 2.3% and 8% over 2007, the Registration & Electoral Office says.

Of the geographical constituency electors, 18.6% are from Hong Kong Island, 13.1% Kowloon West, 16% Kowloon East, 28% New Territories West and 24.3% New Territories East.

The registered electors are eligible to vote in the Legislative Council poll on September 7.

The office has also updated the records of more than 267,000 geographical constituency electors and 3,000 functional constituency electors.

A full set of the final register for geographical constituencies is available for public inspection at the electoral office at 10/F Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai. The public can also inspect the section of the register pertinent to a particular district at respective district offices.

For functional constituencies a full set of the final registers is available for public inspection at the Harbour Centre office and at 10/F Guardian House, 32 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, as well as the Central, Mong Kok, Kwun Tong, Sha Tin and Tsuen Wan District Offices.
