The Task Force on School-based Management Policy convened its first meeting today to discuss its terms of reference and work plan.
It will study the current implementation of the school-based management policy in aided schools, and make recommendations based on the study results to optimise the policy.
The task force will hold further meetings in the coming months and gauge stakeholders' views, with the aim to complete its work by the first quarter of 2019.
The body was formed this month by the Education Commission following the announcement of the initiative in the 2017 Policy Address.
