Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung visited the Hok Yau Club's Student Guidance Centre today.
He was briefed on its services, including a dedicated counselling hotline that provides study information and emotional support for candidates of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination.
Mr Yeung chatted with social workers and counsellors manning the hotline which will operate until July 16.
Examination results will be released on July 12.
He encouraged students to set their minds at ease and make informed choices on development pathways with multiple perspectives.
The Government has provided additional resources to offer students more subsidised and diversified opportunities for further studies, he added.
