Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung says the Government will review the Basic Competency Assessment and announce arrangements for next year's test soon.
Speaking to reporters today, Mr Yeung said this year’s assessment was completed last month and participating schools have submitted their papers.
He added the Committee on Basic Competency Assessment & Assessment Literacy is reviewing the test and will make recommendations to the Government on its future direction in the coming months.
