The Chief Executive will announce retirement protection measures in his Policy Address on January 18.
Secretary for Labour & Welfare Matthew Cheung made the statement at a media session today, saying Mandatory Provident Fund offsetting arrangements will also be announced.
Mr Cheung said the current-term administration is determined to propose the way forward on the two issues.
Details will be spelt out in the Policy Address and he declined to comment on any speculation or media report on the issues.
