E-learning scheme to re-launch

June 27, 2016

Recruitment drives will be held on June 30 and July 15 for the e-Learning Support Scheme, a training and employment project relaunched under the Youth Employment & Training Programme this year.

The scheme was first launched last year to provide pre-employment and on-the-job training for young people to pursue careers in information technology, education and multimedia.

With support from over 100 schools, about 100 young people were employed to undergo 12-months on-the-job training with pay after pre-employment training.

The scheme will relaunch this year to help Form 5 graduates under the old academic system and graduates of the Diploma of Secondary Education as well as those of sub-degree level or equivalent to find a suitable career after leaving school.

It provides two types of positions, the eLearning Support Associate (senior) and the eLearning Support Assistant (junior) for which recruitment days will be held from noon to 4pm on June 30 and July 15 at Pui Ching Primary School.
