Spotless schools:  Mr Ng (third right, first row) officiates at the Clean Campus • Best Partners kick-off ceremony.

Secretary for Education Eddie Ng today launched the Clean Campus • Best Partners campaign to initiate a series of cleanliness activities in schools for the 2015/16 academic year.

Jointly organised by the Committee on Home-School Co-operation and 18 parent-teacher association federations in support of the Keep Clean 2015@Hong Kong: Our Home campaign, it aims to encourage these groups and parents to actively support and participate in school-based cleanliness activities.

At the launch ceremony, Mr Ng called on parents and schools to make a joint effort to keep Hong Kong clean, adding that the Education Bureau encourages schools to conduct school-based cleansing.

He also expressed hope that parents and schools could become students' best partners by co-operating in attending to their learning and growth.
