Secretary for Education Eddie Ng will leave for Guangzhou this afternoon to officiate at the 14th Challenge Cup Final opening ceremony.
The event is a national competition in extra-curricular scientific and technological projects for university students.
The opening ceremony starts at 8pm at Guangdong University of Technology.
Mr Ng will return to Hong Kong after the ceremony.
