Water samples from 12 kindergartens have passed safety checks, the Education Bureau announced today.
They met the World Health Organisation's standard for lead content.
The Water Supplies Department assisted the bureau in testing 25 drinking water samples from the kindergartens.
The test results are available on the bureau's website.
The Government had earlier announced that it would test lead levels in drinking water from kindergartens and subsidised schools built by the Government since 2005. The work started on September 10.
