Secretary for Education Eddie Ng visited the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers Wong Cho Bau School in Tung Chung on the first school day today.
Mr Ng took the opportunity to observe classes and participate in students' learning activities.
He praised the school’s efforts in using electronic teaching aids and the support it gave to cross-boundary students.
Mr Ng also noted that the number of cross-boundary bus routes has increased in recent years from 170 to 220, making it more convenient for the students to attend school in Hong Kong.
