The Education Bureau is providing a primary school with advice and support after a water sample from it was found to contain excessive lead.
Secretary for Education Eddie Ng told reporters today the school has notified parents about the situation and will conduct more water tests to check lead levels.
If the results show lead levels exceed health standards, the Government will offer support.
Mr Ng said the bureau will liaise closely with the school and send health information to all other schools.
