The Education Bureau has launched a consultation today on a minor revision proposal to the junior secondary Chinese History curriculum, to collect views from schools and stakeholders.
The main purpose is to help schools deliver a comprehensive Chinese history education and achieve better alignment with the senior secondary curriculum.
It also wants to encourage schools to enliven their learning and teaching strategies, and enhance students’ learning interest in the subject, the bureau said.
Schools and stakeholders including front-line teachers are welcome to put forward their views on or before May 18.
