Sir Ellis Kadoorie Secondary School (West Kowloon) has won the Most "Social Innovative" Award in the Social Innovation Video Competition for Secondary Students.
Held by the Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Commission on Poverty and the Government Youth Portal, the competition received 70 entries.
Participants were invited to set out their ideas on ways to carry out poverty relief in a three-minute video.
The winning entry Social Animation suggests creating an online platform for animation production so the underprivileged can also become professionals in this service and gain extra income.
The winning team will be sponsored for a four-day trip to Seoul to visit and film social innovation projects there.
