Future prospects

Future prospects:  Secretary for Education Eddie Ng (centre) with representatives of a participating institution at the Expo on November 1.

Students interested in studying at Mainland universities can visit a higher education expo at the Kowloonbay International Trade and Exhibition Centre today and tomorrow.

Jointly organised by the Ministry of Education and the Education Bureau, the free expo is open from 10am to 7pm today and from 10am to 6pm tomorrow.

Ministry of Education representatives will be on hand to give details of the application procedures and arrangements under the admission scheme.

The 78 Mainland higher education institutions participating in the scheme have set up exhibition booths at the expo and have organised talks to provide information on faculties and subjects, admission criteria, the number of places and tuition fees.

There will also be briefing sessions on the characteristics and career prospects of individual programmes, and some Hong Kong graduates will talk about their academic life on the Mainland during sharing sessions.
