Secretary for Education Eddie Ng will attend a forum on digital education in Hangzhou tomorrow and launch an online exchange platform for Hong Kong-Zhejiang sister schools.
The forum will explore the feasibility and effectiveness of education collaboration through the use of information technology to exchange experience and discuss online teaching and learning activities and to try out advanced information technology in the digital era for cross-regional interaction and collaboration and the sharing of quality teaching resources.
Mr Ng will deliver a speech at the forum and witness agreements between two pairs of Hong Kong and Zhejiang educational institutions to become sister schools. He will also meet senior provincial officials.
He will return to Hong Kong tomorrow night. Under Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung will act as Secretary during Mr Ng's absence.
