The average monthly salaries for mid-level managerial and professional employees rose 4.4% in June compared with last year, the Census & Statistics Department said today.
After discounting the increase in consumer prices as measured by the Consumer Price Index (C), the Real Salary Index (A) increased 0.9% in June over a year earlier.
The survey findings also showed 75% of employees had profit-sharing bonuses and 30% enjoyed housing benefits, higher than the 74% and 29% recorded in 2013.
