Education project applications invited

October 20, 2014

The Education Bureau today launched a new round of applications for the Quality Enhancement Support Scheme under the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund.

Non-profit education institutions offering full-time locally-accredited self-financing sub-degree or bachelor's degree programmes, and related bodies, are eligible to apply by February 27.

The scheme began in 2012 to enhance teaching and learning quality in the self-financing post-secondary sector, supporting both theme-based and open-ended projects.

Theme-based projects should be joint initiatives fostering collaboration among multiple institutions, benefiting the sector as widely as possible.

Open-ended projects should be within the scheme's scope, which is to improve the overall learning experience and language proficiency, develop and improve teaching methodology and practices, improve quality assurance, and enhance student support and career guidance.
