Secretary for Labour & Welfare Matthew Cheung says the Labour Department is concerned over the wage claims of Asia Television employees.

Speaking to the reporters today, Mr Cheung said the department has received a request for help from several ATV employees and legal action is possible.

Noting that ATV’s management is trying to solve its financial problem, Mr Cheung said it is the company’s responsibility to pay the outstanding wages as soon as possible.
