An envelope containing personal data that went missing in Tuen Mun Hospital has been found.
The hospital told the Labour Department today the envelope was still sealed when found and the personal data remained intact.
The department said it will continue its investigation into the case, and has improved the current mode of dispatch arrangements with hospitals.
It has informed the affected people of the matter, and reported it to Police and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
The envelope, which went missing on October 27, contained the personal data of 56 people applying for employees' compensation.
