Customs officers have arrested five people after seizing 290,000 illicit cigarettes.
The goods were seized from a man, a residential unit and a private car in a citywide operation yesterday.
Two men and three women aged 33 to 50 were arrested.
The haul was valued at $750,000 with a duty potential of $550,000.
