Customs officers have arrested three people after seizing the biggest ivory haul in Hong Kong in three decades.
The seven-tonne $72 million haul was discovered in a container at the Kwai Chung Customhouse Cargo Examination Compound.
During an inspection on July 4, officers found the ivory hidden under cartons of frozen fish in a container arriving from Malaysia.
A man and two women from a Tuen Mun trading company were arrested.
