Customs today urged people to stop using a children's high chair, which might trap little fingers.
The Government Laboratory recently conducted safety tests on the product and found it has gaps that might put children at risk.
Officers seized a total of 17 children's high chairs from seven shops in the past two days and the investigation is ongoing.
It is a criminal offence to supply, manufacture or import unsafe toys or children's products. The maximum penalty is a $100,000 fine and one-year imprisonment on first conviction.
