The Immigration Department reminds people who intend to travel abroad during the Easter holiday to apply for travel documents early.
The department said it normally takes 10 working days to process an application for the HKSAR passport, and 14 working days for applicants under 11 years of age.
It added urgent passport issuance request for pleasure trips will not be entertained.
