In view of the latest Zika virus situation in Singapore, the Government today removed the Amber Outbound Travel Alert for the country.
The Government reassessed the situation in Singapore after the World Health Organisation announced Zika no longer represented a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
It noted the number of Zika virus infection cases in Singapore has dropped significantly and, based on the latest public health risk assessment, it decided to remove the alert.
