Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen will attend the 5th Asia Pacific ADR Conference in Seoul on October 11 and 12.
It is an international conference on dispute resolution, with this year’s theme of "the future development of arbitration".
It is hosted by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Regional Office for Asia & the Pacific, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea, the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, the International Chamber of Commerce and the Seoul International Dispute Resolution Center.
Mr Yuen will speak at a session on "Arbitration for 50 Years & 50 Years Ahead - Innovation for Efficiency & Legitimacy".
He will return to Hong Kong in the evening of October 12.
